I’ve begun my work as Welfare and Education Officer at Goldsmiths Student Union now, and was hoping to get some ideas from you…

I want all the new students coming from outside of South East London to be ‘in the know’ of what’s out there to help them settle in.

Would you mind taking a few moments out of your time to post/message ideas about what kind of places you’ve gone to in your time at Goldsmiths please?

Think…
• Places to eat (preferably with student/cheap deals)
• Take aways
• Cinema special offers
• Markets
• Cheaper/affordable theatre
• Parks
• Book clubs
• Anything that you’d speak highly of…

Think mainly New Cross, Greenwich, Lewisham, Peckham…(but feel free to suggest other areas)

And for those in private accomodation, phone/TV/Internet/utility deals...

Would be really grateful.
